In 2000, God called, appointed and anointed Obadiah Colón Ortíz to blow the Shofar from a biblical Christian perspective. Since then, Obadiah has been asked to blow the Shofar to open conferences. According to Obadiah, when he plays his ancient Hebrew instrument of repentance, praise, worship, and spiritual warfare, the wonderful presence of God is experienced, and healings, miracles, signs, and wonders follow. 

A catalytic minister dedicated to ushering in the tangible presence of God. With a specific calling to the prophetic sound of the Shofar, he serves as a bridge between ancient biblical declaration and modern spiritual awakening.

Guided by the mandate of Shofar Fire & Power Ministries, his life is a testament to the Dunamis—the explosive, miraculous power of the Holy Spirit. Through a unique mantle of  intercessory prayer, and the blowing of the Shofar, Obadiah seeks to shift spiritual atmospheres and ignite a "holy fire" in the hearts of believers. His mission is clear: to see the atmosphere of earth transformed by the weight of God's glory. Driven by the "Dunamis" fire of Acts 1:8, he continues to travel and minister, inviting every believer to step into their own God-given authority and experience the consuming fire of the Father's love.
